Documentary & Fine Art Wedding Photography
Great Wedding Photography is about capturing those little moments. The flower girl throwing confetti on herself, grandparents holding hands and guests laughing out loud at the best man’s speech.
My approach to your wedding day is to combine informal and relaxed documentary photography, with creative portraiture. I want to tell the story of your day through amazing images, but without taking over or controlling your day.
This approach helps me to portray the emotion and atmosphere of the day, leaving you with a collection of beautiful images and memories.

Both myself and my wife would like to thank you so so much for everything you have done which made our big day absolutely amazing! You went above and beyond the call of duty and the photos are just stunning!!
Right from the initial enquiry we made with you, you have been incredible, utterly professional and so keen and eager to get as many shots as you could!
Thank you for making our day unforgettable! We will be recommending you to everyone who will listen (but most people already know because we haven't been able to shut up about you since!)
You are amazing!!
All the best,

This review won't do James justice. When we first started planning our wedding I was pretty underwhelmed by photographers. I looked at a few on the internet and was even contemplating not having one. Then I came across James' work.
The end product was just what we wanted. Instead of posed, lifeless photos we have photos that actually depict our day. There were so many amazing images we struggled to find our favourites, and still haven't finalised our album as I just don't know which to pick.
James was wonderful on the day, and it truly feels like having a friend at your wedding. He managed to get lots of great photos without it feeling intrusive. He truly is wonderful.
We can't recommend him enough....

As a fellow wedding supplier I've worked alongside James a few times now and I can honestly say he's the best wedding photographer I've come across during my years in the industry. And believe me, I meet a lot of photographers!
I personally love his film-like style, it just suits a wedding really well. James seems to be able to draw something special out of his photographs that a lot of photographers can't, but you can tell that by looking at any one of the sample images on the first page of his website!
He's a very nice chap to have with you on your big day, and I think it's safe to say you'll be overwhelmed and amazed when you sit down to look at the pictures you receive afterwards. The Warning Tones Band - www.warningtones.co.uk
