Aneala & Daniel’s Stubton Hall Wedding…
My first wedding of 2014, and what a way to start the year! Aneala & Daniel chose the wonderful Stubton Hall near Newark to host their wedding, a 19th Century Country House set in 24 acres of gardens and grounds. Any worries about having the whole day in just one setting are immediately cast aside once you arrive at Stubton Hall.
I joined Aneala, her mum Jackie and bridesmaids in the morning, relaxing downstairs in the comfort of the bar area before moving upstairs to the bridal suite to begin their preparations. Even with the makeup artist and hair stylists busily working away, the atmosphere was relaxed, but with steadily building excitement!
Guests started arriving around midday so I made my way downstairs to see Daniel and his groomsmen, nervously waiting!
1 o’clock arrived and Aneala was walked down the main staircase by her father and into the Music Room where the ceremony was held. There were readings, emotional tears, laughter, an exchange of rings, and a first kiss.
The new Mr & Mrs Norris walked out into the surprisingly warm February sunshine, through a cloud of confetti and began their celebrations.
The wedding breakfast was held in the impressive Orangery followed by the speeches.
We were treated to a glorious sunset before Aneala & Daniel had their first dance, after which a vintage photobooth was set up (yes, I had a go) followed by a fireworks display on the lawn just outside.
A truly awesome day and a great couple, congratulations to Mr & Mrs Norris! Here’s some more highlights…
