Lorna & Tim’s Village Church & Marquee Wedding…
The small village of Ludborough in Lincolnshire was the location for this beautiful country wedding. Lorna & Tim travelled back to the UK from their current home in Australia to celebrate with their friends and families. I remember during our first meeting saying I didn’t envy them having to plan a wedding from several thousand miles away! But what an amazing job they did.
Clearly a very popular couple, a number of village residents joined Tim & Lorna to get the whole village looking its best ready for the big day, and when it came, we were treated to perfect weather also.
Lorna walked the short distance to the church with her father & bridesmaids, then after the ceremony was very surprised to find a horse and carriage waiting outside. I love finding out about little secrets like this and capturing the bride and groom’s reaction!
Lorna & Tim enjoyed a 20 minute ride to the reception at The Mill House, Louth where they enjoyed drinks in the garden with all of their guests before a meal in the marquee. As the sun started to set, I took Lorna & Tim away for a few minutes to take a few more shots of just the two of them, after which they decided to run through their first dance routine one last time, enabling me to capture the stunning photo you see above.
A beautiful day, wonderful setting and a great couple. Congratulations to you both and best of luck for the future.
