Church Wedding and Tipi Reception
This autumn tipi wedding in Lincolnshire took place at Ash Farm Barns in Noth Willingham. These converted stables and barns were an ideal setting for Sarah, her bridesmaids and family to get ready in the morning.
We headed to Market Rasen for a 1pm ceremony. Afterwards, everyone gathered outside to shower Sarah and Alistair in confetti, before heading back to the venue.
Wedfest!
Sarah and Alistair’s festival themed tipi reception was fantastic! I even got my own entry pass lanyard, which is still hanging on my office wall right now. S&A arrived across the field, stood out the roof of their VW camper van, waving to a crowd of cheering guests. What an entrance!
The Lincoln Ukulele Band were playing on arrival, with Alistair wasting no time picking up a ukulele and joining in! Other completely normal activities followed, such as inflatable sheep racing. Sarah hilariously finding out it’s harder than it looks.
Speeches and food soon followed. Then, as the sun was setting and the tipis began to look even more magical, The Nameless Three kicked off the evening entertainment. Some guests on the dancefloor, others choosing to relax outside around the fire.
I love the variety of weddings I’m invited to! This was a perfectly laid back and informal way to celebrate a wedding. WedFest gets 5 stars from me.
